The PGD U-line Class 4 SA plates protect you against a wide range of modern rifle bullets, making the PGD U-line ESAPI plate an excellent choice for those who need maximum protection in high-risk environments, both for soldiers on the battlefield and for security guards and civilians facing terrorists or saboteurs.

The PGD-Uline can be used as stand-alone, so you don't need a soft ballistic package under this plate. Upon bullet impact, the bullet remains in the plate.

The hard ballistic plates are Stand Alone in various sizes and are multi-curved with an ESAPI plate shooter's cut.

These U-line ballistic plates are designed with a multi-curve shape, allowing the plate to conform well to the body, as it is shaped to the chest and abdomen. The plate is made from one large piece of monolithic SiC ceramic. This gives you the lightest and at the strongest ceramic available for NIJ level 4.

The PGD U-line ESAPI plate is protected all around by a thin foam layer against impact and intensive use, and also ensures that no bullet fragments cause neck injuries upon impact. The advantage of a ceramic plate is that SS109 / M855 / M193 and armor-piercing impacts are stopped where they would pierce steel plates. On the back of the plate, an Anti Back Face Signature line is built. This provides additional protection against trauma from bullet impact.

The PGD U-line ESAPI plate is designed to perform well in extreme environments, whether hot or very cold. The PGD U-line plate is sealed with an oil and water-repellent Cordura cover.

This ESAPI plate, which stands for Enhanced Small Arms Protective Inserts, is NIJ level 4, stand-alone, and available in 5 different sizes, which significantly increases the safety for larger individuals and makes wearing more comfortable for smaller individuals.
