According to Belgian law, bulletproof vests for security and guard agents must be black. We still have three models of visible black covers available for bulletproof vests suitable for security guards.
The old Heracles cover in black from Sioen Ballistics is no longer in production, but some covers are still available. It is almost impossible to gather all sizes for a large order. The Puma black cover by Engarde is now also available in black, making it suitable for security guards in Belgium. The Heracles Molle black cover from Sioen Ballistics are the new covers for security guards, intended to replace the old Heracles covers. The Molle webbing at the front is derived from the new bulletproof vests for the Belgian Police and offers the advantage of attaching all kinds of Molle pouches to the vest. Security guards in Belgium can be divided into two groups: the active security guards who go out on patrol and the passive security guards who secure a specific building.
Active security guards carry various types of equipment, for which the Heracles Molle is ideally suited to attach additional Molle pouches with equipment to the Heracles Molle bulletproof vest. The disadvantage is that the Heracles Molle vest has a somewhat military appearance and looks intimidating to the average citizen.
Passive security guards who guard buildings such as public buildings, hospitals, or other places with many visitors prefer a calm-looking stab and bulletproof vest without Molle webbing. For this, the new Puma vest from Engarde is extremely suitable.

Puma black cover front and back
The black Puma™ cover is made of durable Heavy Duty Cordura®, features a zipper in the middle of the front and two patch pockets with Velcro closure system, a Napoleon pocket, two pen holders, 5 radio/camera attachment straps on the shoulders and chest, and also has Velcro patches for a small patch on the front and a large one on the back.
It has 4 internal pockets for special cooling elements. 2 pockets in the front and two pockets in the back. (cooling packs are sold separately)
These cooling elements for body cooling can be cooled in the refrigerator and maintain a temperature of 21° for 3.5 hours. They can be slipped into the pockets provided in the new Puma black cover.
The cooling elements can be fully inserted into the pockets and stay in place. They are very pleasant during the summer or for use in warm areas.

The MT-PRO-GEN7™ package from Engarde®
The 3a NIJ 0101.06 MT-PRO-GEN7 bulletproof and stab-proof packages from Engarde against the calibers .357SIG – .44 Magnum + 9x19mm + 7.62x25 Tokarev + 5.7x28mm SS197 are intended for the Engarde covers. The MT-PRO-GEN7 is thus clearly tested to meet the requirements of the American police market (FBI test protocol) where contact shots are required and where the 5.7x28mm SS197 cartridge is allowed for civilians.

The MT-PRO-GEN7 stops the HOSDB P1 knife at 15 Joules (<20 mm)

The MT-PRO-GEN7 stops the S1 knife at XX Joules <20 mm (tests are planned)
The MT-PRO is anti-needle at 5 Joules, according to VPAM KDIW 2004.

The new stab and bulletproof packages FLEX-PRO-SPIK from Engarde®
Another new stab and bulletproof package available from Engarde® is the FLEX-PRO-IIIA+ Spike, which is specifically aimed at the police and government market and forms an alternative to the stab and bulletproof packages according to the HOSDB standard such as Cast 2017.
