The Full Coverage Gloves are ideal for handling animals such as wild cats or other animals with sharp claws. The sharp claws do not go into or through the glove wall, so that the claws are not stuck in the glove or can be torn off. The gloves are quite thin and flexible so that it is possible to operate tools with the gloves on.

The gloves are in principle not suitable against biting cats and dogs. While the gloves provide some protection against the incisors, it is possible that the canine teeth of cats and dogs could pass through the glove. The typical Turtleskin material is quite thin, cut and needle resistant, quite flexible, but the bite of a cat or dog will always be felt well, even if the teeth do not go through! The bite will be felt as a pinch on the hand!
