The Operator Plate Carrier NIJ-4 Stand Alone 2x250x300mm is designed with modular platforms on all sides. The front and back of the harness are cut out for operator functions with great mobility. The operator plate carrier is appreciated for its excellent wearing comfort and high freedom of movement.

The MOPC Accepts up to 10.25" x 13.25" plates front and back, and up to 6" x 8" side plates.

For protection against war guns, this Operator Plate Carrier is equipped with two hard ballistic plates NIJ-4 Stand Alone of 250x300 mm. These sit along the front on the chest and along the back on the back. With NIJ-4 Stand Alone plates, the steel core ball is completely absorbed by the NIJ-4 Stand Alone plate upon impact. The steel core bullet remains in the Stand Alone plate and does not cause trauma injury upon impact from a bullet. This protective combination is able to stop steel core bullets from the Kalashnikov, Fal and M16 assault rifles. Also, this bulletproof combination is able to stop a steel core bullet from a Russian Dragunov SVD sniper rifle.

Working principle: the bullet hits the hard bulletproof plate, deforms, breaks and crushes but remains in the bulletproof plate. No need to wear a soft bulletproof vest underneath.
