The TacTec Plate Carrier features a skeleton waistband and yoke shoulder pads for a secure and comfortable fit, integrated web platform, a one-handed quick release system for emergency responders and adjustable elastic waist straps for stability during periods of high activity and a dedicated rescue handle for a quick towing of shot down personnel. With NIJ-4 Stand Alone plates, the steel core bullet is completely absorbed by the NIJ-4 Stand Alone plate upon impact. The steel core bullet remains in the Stand Alone plate and does not cause trauma injury upon impact from a bullet. This allows you to take several hits and still be combat ready.

Operating principle: the bullet hits the hard bulletproof plate, deforms, breaks and crushes but remains in the bulletproof plate. It is not necessary to wear a soft body armor under it. This plate carrier with Stand Alone bulletproof plates can be worn over a T-shirt or combat shirt. No significant bullet impact trauma.
